Looking back on my Jungle Book experiences from the Days of Yesteryear, I Remember my Dad...
My father was a HUGE Rudyard
Kipling fan and he was 20 years old when the original Jungle Book movie featuring
Sabu came to his local theater, he was there! When I was child every time the
movie came on TV my father would laugh and say "Ah, ha...Sabu, Sabu!" Here is
the best utube post on that original movie I could find for your viewing
pleasure:
When my children were
young in the late 80's, Sabu's Jungle Book was the first VHS movie he bought
for them.
