Vintage Christmas Carols & Hymns Activities & FREEBIE!

Vintage Christmas Carols & Hymns Activities & FREEBIE!

L@@ks like the Christmas Holidays are officially upon us now. Why just think, only 2 more Thursdays, then the 3rd Thursday is CHRISTMAS!!! Well, time ALWAYS proves my analysis, "Once the school year begins, you may just as well KISS the rest of the year GOOD-BYE!!!" The older I get, the more it becomes apparent the days scurry by at an ALARMING rate!

On a LIGHTER note, my hubby, Pyute & I are going to VEGAS on Monday to see the RAT PACK IS BACK!!!  I am so STOKED as I majorly DIG the scene! We saw them last year and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!! While it will basically be the same script, I do NOT care as this show will no longer be performing as of December 31. SAD but overall, I am HEP to the hap as after time, a body becomes weary of repetitive routine...which is why at my age, I have found myself seeking to get  "out of my box" and LOVING it!!

When I was younger in the days gone past, teaching & raising my babes was all I tripped on. If I wanted to go somewhere, such as the beach, camping, Drive In, Amusement Parks and the like,  why I just took them ALL with me. We accomplished many a exciting and successful caravan in those days! But now, I am LOVIN' just me & my hubby...SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!

That said, I have been intensely re-formatting my next 2 post for this here blog, my house is in shambles (it is getting on my nerves, as TRUST me. my family will NOT hesitate telling you so upon prompt), yet  my mind & body is running on FULL speed! For the life of me, I just am unable to fathom how ALL of my fellow Ed bloggers out in web land appear to smoothly hang with it all. I also am in wonder how I was able to pull off accomplishing so much in a day during my younger years. Hmmm, as the sands storm by, so do the days of our life! So MUCH to do, so LITTLE time...sigh...

I am publishing this post before I leave for Vegas, and have the 2nd post ready to publish when I get back on the 13th. I plan on being MOST elusive this week, so come back & visit next Saturday as my next post will be on Toy Soldiers.

But this here post contains my FAV Christmas Carol craft from the days of yesteryear & I have included my FREEBIE pattern for you to make with your babes! I cannot begin to tell you how many children & parents enjoyed the outcome of this inviting Christmas Carol decoration throughout the years. Hung on a door, it is sooooooooooo BODACIOUSLY BOSS!!!

Christmas Carols & Hymns were written to honor the coming of our King and prompt our spirit into the worship & praise of our TRUE & LIVING LORD, and that my dear friend, contrary to popular belief, is nothing to shake a stick at! As the Share Faith site so plainly writes:

The birth of Jesus was celebrated by music: “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luke 2:13-14).
